What is Group Games?
Group Games: For Everyone is a pass-and-play party game collection for iPhone. It bundles 15 games and session tools — including Fishbowl, Imposter, Trivia, Couples Trivia, Ship Battle, Hangman, Group Sudoku, Spin the Wheel, Hot Seat, Rank It, Ghost, the Alphabet Game, plus a Tournament bracket and a Scoreboard — all playable by passing one phone around the group.
Do I need Wi-Fi or a data connection to play?
No. Every game works completely offline. You only need a connection briefly to load pricing in the App Store paywall.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select Group Games, and tap Cancel. You'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period.
I bought Group Games on another device — how do I restore it?
Open the app, tap any game to bring up the paywall, then tap "Restore Previous Purchase" at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
The paywall won't load prices / is stuck loading.
This is almost always a temporary App Store connection issue. Check your internet connection and tap "Try Again." If it persists, force-close and reopen the app.
Can I get a refund?
All payments are processed by Apple, and Turner Media has no ability to issue refunds directly. Refund requests must go through Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Do you collect my personal data or show ads?
No. Group Games has no ads, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and doesn't require an account. Player names you add stay only on your device. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
My players/roster disappeared after reinstalling the app.
Player names are stored locally on your device only — they're not backed up to iCloud or any server. Reinstalling or deleting the app removes them, so you'll need to re-add your players afterward.
How many players do the games support?
It varies by game — most work with 2 or more players, some (like Fishbowl, Imposter, and Family) need at least 4, and a few have a max player count. The app will only let you start a game your current player count supports.
Does Group Games work on iPad?
It's optimized for iPhone and will run on iPad in compatibility mode, but the layout is designed for phone-sized screens.
How does AirPlay / TV mode work?
Connect your iPhone to an Apple TV or AirPlay display via Control Center → Screen Mirroring. The game board automatically appears on the TV while players interact on the phone. No internet is used for this — it runs over your local network.
Is Group Games appropriate for kids?
